(River Falls, Wis.) – To be exceptional stewards of healthcare resources, The River Falls Medical Clinic, with support from the River Falls Area Hospital, will offer Walk-In Care on Sundays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., beginning Sunday, September 7, 2008.
“We are seeing a lot of urgent, but not emergent medical care being provided on Sundays because the River Falls Area Hospital Emergency Department is the only place for medical access. We understand our patient’s medical needs occur seven days a week” said Dr. Greg Goblirsch, Medical Director at River Falls Medical Clinic.
Walk-In Care gives patients access to the extraordinary care they’ve come to expect from the Healthcare Providers at the River Falls Medical Clinic. Walk-In Care is an excellent choice for a wide array of medical problems not serious enough to be judged an emergency, yet need to be treated same-day. Among these conditions are: colds and flu, sprains and strains, sore throat, headaches, ear aches, minor cuts requiring stitches, and more. Patients will be seen on a walk-in basis only, so there is no need to call for an appointment.
